This May June 2022 ColPac eNews brings the late spring happenings around the school. Additional it also introduces the summer happenings as well. To emphasize, the good news for students is that late spring and summer classes rarely fill. Therefore, the students always get into the class that fits their schedule. Additionally, we will never cancel a class due to low enrollment. In-other-words, we are happy to hold any class for a single mariner.

Columbia Pacific (ColPac) Maritime at SWOCC
Originally in Portland, Oregon. Now Columbia Pacific (ColPac) Maritime is at Southwestern Oregon Community College (SWOCC) in Coos Bay, Oregon. Because of our partnership with SWOCC we have rolled back our prices to 2008. Therefore, we offer a BIG Thank You SWOCC! And you, the mariner, gets a big savings.

Just about every maritime employer is looking for qualified workers. And the small vessel fleet is no exception. Here is a recent short list of maritime employers looking to hire qualified workers.
- Eagle Charters in Elfin Cove, Alaska. Specifically, they are looking for 6-pack (OUPV) fishing guides who want to fish. Additionally, they will train these guides to fish the local area. Here is our late spring and summer schedule. To emphasize, all of our classes are scheduled over consecutive days, including weekends.
OUPV and Master Class Start Dates

To clarify. Firstly, the OUPV class is 8-days for $1,000. And secondly, the Master class is 10-days for $1,200.
Radar Observer Class Start Dates

To explain. Firstly, the Radar Observer Unlimited class is 4-days for $600. And secondly, the Combined Radar Observer and ARPA class is 7-days for $900. Additionally, we offer a 4-day APRA class for $600.

To explain. Firstly, this AB class is 5-days for $700. Secondly, it will satisfy the exam requirements for any AB rating.
Tankerman-PIC Class Start Dates

To emphasize. Firstly, this Tankerman Dangerous Liquids class is 5-days for $700. Secondly, it will satisfy the exam requirements for Tankerman-PIC (DL), Tankerman-Assistant (DL), and Tankerman-Engineer (DL).
